Brian L. Weiss, PhD

I have been performing state-of-the-art scientific research for over 20 years and have co-authored  over 50 peer-reviewed publications. My scientific areas of interest include Microbiology, Immunology, Entomology, Vector Biology (arthropods that spread disease), Parasitology, and Genomics. I am currently a faculty member (Research Scientist/Scholar and Lecturer) at a major Tier 1 research university, and writing scientific manuscripts and grant applications is a prominent component of what I do on a regular basis. I also serve as Deputy Editor at an eminent scientific publisher, and in this capacity I am intimately involved in all aspects scientific editing, peer review and science communication.
